Situated on the east shore of Rib Lake is this area's most fantastic natural secret - The Cliff Lake Conservation Reserve - only 11 miles north of Temagami.
Explore the old growth forests, view the diverse ecology, and the rare geological formations which
are protected in the Temagami area within the Conservation Reserve . This will ensure it
remains completely untouched and available for future generations to explore with wonder and joy.
Here you will find a variety of lakes including Rib, Friday, Fat (summit) Slim, Roosevelt, and Prud'Homme, which are all coldwater trout lakes. These lakes supporta variety of other cold water fish also, such as walleye, brook trout, perch, smallmouth bass and whitefish, and yes, don't forget our great northern pike!
